Who is ASi?​

Smart Villages Association, using the acronym ASi, is a professional association of private law, without having any remunerative purpose, serving as a nonprofit legal identity, and was founded according to the Government regulation number 26/2000, concerning associations, foundations, and according to Law number 246 in the 18th of July, 2005.

Mission

The association ensures collaboration, complementarity, research, development, innovation, transfer of knowledge and good practices, training, education and efficient use of material and human resources, both among its members and through partnerships with other organizations, to develop and implement high-performance solutions for the sustainable development of communities and territories in Romania, but also for increasing the involvement of stakeholders in the implementation and development of the Smart Village concept, including actions and related activities, associated or derived from them.

How to become a member?

Any Romanian or foreign citizen can become member of the SMART VILLAGE ASSOCIATION, if the Regulations of the association are respected and if the association targets are being achieved. The following categories of members are admitted: founder members, active members and honour members.


All the association members have the obligation to pay annually a fee established by the Management Board.
